Last saturday we gave a bellyboard building and painting workshop at the Breaking The Waves festival at the beach near Bergen aan Zee, Holland. The weather was fantastic and 10 kids busied themselves making a great board out of scrap plywood. We only brought wood for ten boards this time and had to disappont loads of people :( We bring more wood next time, we promise!

Wow Eef that is a wonderful and amazing thing you did. Its great to see it was a huge success.
Kids need to be reminded that they can make their own fun and build their own toys. They don't need a $1000 Kelly Slater signature (made in China) surfboard to have awesome fun. They don't need the latest "COOL" thing to really be cool kids. Having fun is what it should all be about as a kid.
