Last saturdaymorning i went surfing with a friend and since the water is quite nippy (39F) i wanted a board with a bit more float so i could puch myself above the mush and ride over the whitewater, and duckdive only when there was no escaping it.
So i dug out this board i made some years ago and forgot for some time: the Ladyshark bodysurfer, made from the nose of an discarded windsurfboard. With my arms stretched out to it's nose, the tail is just under my armpits, so it directs the waterflow really nice. It works like the nose of a normal surfboard, and my body works like the rest of the board.
Caught some nice waves, and had a great surf.
