More woooooood sliders in progress

Got busy in the shed yesterday night!

This piece of wood had been looking at mee for a long time, and yesterday i cut a little tube screamer out of it. It's about the length of my arm, and in size somewhere in between a paipo and a handboard. When up on a plane, you can rest your elbows and underarms on it, while the tail is just under your chest. That way the board and your body makes one long straight planing surface. Should be ideal for the shorebreak at my local:


large skull-shaped paipo for the small-wave days. It's four feet long and allmost 3 feet wide. It's going to have twin keels that will run most of the boards length to chill out the rocker and prevent too much sideways sliding on muchy waves. Just behind the handboard you can see the handgrip (it's too wide too carry under your arm otherwise):
