Fallen Angel

I got a surf this morning! Grey skies, strong winds and rain, but there were WAVES! I took my new JAJA handplane and got pummeled for a good while before i made it out, got my board and myself bend and flexed nicely by the closeouts and made it out only twice :)

Got one and a half ride and felt completely spend so i went in for a coffee. Thanks a lot sea for the lesson in humility :D

Got started on my first hotrod handplane last night: it's going to be a big one with a battail, so you can rest both your underarms on it, but it can be paddled with on arm (hopefully). It is dubbed the "Fallen Angel" cause i recycled a kind of dark painting on wood (on wood) to make it. I'm going to do some woodburner art on the other side.
