i borrowed my bandsmate's guitar to do some downtuning experiments: it's a black, scarred and stickered Les Paul that paid it's dues in a number of punkbands. Looks and sounds awesome. Finally i play the guitar that Slash plays, too :D

Going to test it tomorrow!
