listening tip: Wolves In The Throne Room

I have always been attracted to black metal in a way, but never to the satanic side of it. I never understood where that attraction came from until recently i came across Wolves In The Throne Room, a black metal band hailing from the rain forests around Olympia, Washington.

They use their music as a means to express the earths and mankinds suffering caused by the way most modern people live their lives. They promote a more eco-friendly way of live and in their epic sounding long songs you can hear the forests breathe.

Very inspiring band, go give them a listen, even when you're not really into black metal. You won't be dissapointed.
