I got into full crust gearhead mode and plugged in my latest soundsystem addition, the mixer/amp. This thing has 4 different input channels with each their own volume, bass, trebble and reverb control. The amp has a master volume, bass, trebble and reverb as well.
The great thing about this amp is that now i can split my guitar signal and give all the split lines their own string off effects, and mix them into a nice wall of sound blend on the amp:
string one: all distortion pedals for a nice layer of controlable (well kind of anyway) feedback.
string two: this is kind of the space channel with a digital delay, phaser and flanger
string three: the space channel without the delay
on the amp you can mix all the guitar channels into a nice blend of straight and space signal.
The bass string (with a distortion pedal and two octave pedals) goes into a seperate amp which handles the low and a little better. It is possible to power these four strings with the doubleneck (guitar + bass) or just a single 6-string.
Hopefully some sound recordings soon :D
The PA mixer-amp
pedals: the top string is all the distortion pedals
