Smile at the world and it will smile at you

Last wednesday the girls were staying with their grandparents, and my wife and i went to the COBRA museum in Amsterdam. We have been planning to go there for ages so now we finally made it there :)

The museum has a huge collection of paintings from the painters of the Cobra movement (Karel Appel, Lucebert) and we love their style (based on sponteinity, experiment rawness and childrens drawings). Super inspiring! I got a dvd in the museum shop with all kinds of interviews and documentaries on it, where you can see them working, awesome!!

We shot some pictures Uncle Stein style:

wow, that's so cool. 2 or 3 years ago I bought a book by Willemijn Stokvis about the Cobra movement. I love the paintings too but it would be so awesome to see them for real.
