I love making music and i love drawing, so i try to do that as often as possible. I love texts too, but never quite figured out how to make ones that i feel good about. I was in a hiphop crew for a while and that was fun, so it always was there in the back of my head.
When my day starts i always check in on a few blogs i really like, and the last few months awesome words and phrases seemed to jump at me from the screen. So i started collecting them in my notepad, and then started collecting them from magazines and other places on the web too. When i looked at the found words and sentences after a while, they just seem to fall into place forming little, sometimes absctract, poems representing my moods and feelings so much better then any stuff that i would try to write before. Then a friend told me that Burroughs would write some of his poems the same way! Awesome!
These new poems kept me buzzing for quite some time, since i now found i way to write poetry/lyrics that i really like! Thanks you so much guys (you know who yo are)for stoking me out, and i hope you keep the textual awesomeness flowing from your blogs.
During the christmas holidays i decided i wanted to mix everything up in one project: artwork, music, poems and all the influences that inspire me (being black and doom metal important ones at the moment). That project became Demon Grinder, and i just finished a 5 track EP for it.
Since i believe strongly in the sharing and inspiring abilities of the internet, you can download it for free, and hopefully it stokes some people out and get them inspired to do their own shit. Don't let that weird idea about perfection stop you, DIY rules baby!! Embrace the krustiness :)
ok, here are the links:
