I finally got started on the skull-elbowboard! I cut the rough shape out of a piece of ply that i had in the shed, then sandes and painted it. The legth is so that you can easily rest your elbows on the board while your hands are in the handgrip/mouth of the board. Thanks to the handgrip you can carry it down the beach like a designer handbag too :D
It needs some layers of oil, and then it's ready to be send off to the States.
I'm going to build a bigger version (mini-paipo) of the skull-board too:
